Background:  Starting pitcher in the rotation last spring and finished with a 3-0 record...struck out 35 in 44 innings of work after beginning season injured...came on strong at end of season with stellar playoff outings (0 earned runs in 9-inning complete game win over Skagit Valley, 8 strikeout / 8 inning win over Mount Hood at NWAACC Championships)...Played at Mountlake Terrace High School under Coach Andrew Watters… three-year letter-winner…1st team All-WesCo 3A utility and Everett Herald All-Area 2nd team first base in 2011...1st team All-WesCo 3A pitcher and first base, Everett Herald All-Area 2nd team pitcher, and a 1st team All-State pitcher selection in 2012 along with current teammates John Bodenhamer, Brandon Mahovlich, Aaron Stroosma, Nick Pribble, Noel Gonzalez, and Kurt Lindemann.… posted a 3-1 record with a 2.75 ERA in 20.1 innings in 2011 and a 7-1 record with a 2.33 ERA in 54 innings in 2012…helped lead Mountlake Terrace to a 4A district championship in 2010 and 3A district championship in 2012…played summer baseball for Seattle Select 18U Black under Coach Dave Snell...won the Seattle Elite league in 2012 as well as the Central Washington Baseball Classic and the Wilkinson Cardinal Classic...pitched for the Seattle Mariners scout team along with current teammate Brandon Mahovlich in 2011...was rated 23rd top prospect in the state by Baseball Northwest.
