Veteran Jared Plummer joins Grand Prairie after spending the past eight seasons within the Los Angeles Dodgers, Kansas City Royals, and Boston Red Sox farm systems, reaching as high as the Triple-A Omaha Royals. 

In 2009, Plummer pitched for the Single-A and Double-A affiliates of the Red Sox, and posted an 8-8 record with a 3.99 ERA and 96 strikeouts in 117.1 innings of work.

On the mound with the Royals’ Single-A, Double-A, and Triple-A squads from 2006-2008, the right-hander went 21-12, with 273 strikeouts. 

Originally selected by Los Angeles Dodgers in 26th Round of the 2002 amateur entry draft, Plummer spent 2002-2005 within the Dodgers’ farm system, reaching the class High-A level ball.
