Daniels spent his first full season in Lincoln in 2009, and battled through some early-season struggles to become the Saltdogs’ primary setup man down the stretch.  He held opposing hitters to a .236 batting average, handling both lefties and righties effectively.  Adam had an up-and-down run in the playoffs, but bounced back from a game four loss in the championship series to record three crucial outs in the title-clinching fifth game.  Daniels owns the rare distinction of having been drafted five different times (2001-Bluejays, 2002-Twins, 2003-Rockies, 2004-Cubs, 2005-Cardinals) before finally signing his first pro contract.
