A freshman at Wright State, right-handed hurler Trevor Swaney will join teammate Kieston Greene to represent the Horizon League in the Berkshires this summer.
A Wheaton, Ill., native, Swaney saw copious action in his first collegiate season, appearing in 24 games while picking up four wins in relief over a span of nearly 40 innings. Heading into the Horizon League Tournament, Swaney owns 23 strikeouts to 11 walks and a 5.72 ERA.
The son of Darren and Kimberly Swaney, Trevor has one sister and one brother and holds his high school’s records in all-time RBI, hits and ERA. He is pursing a major in athletic training at Wright State.
