Former Baltimore Orioles World Champion Andy Etchebarren returns for his third full season as manager of the Revs, having guided the team to the Atlantic League championship in each of his first two full years at the helm. The 2012 season is his 51st in professional baseball. Last season, "Etch" guided the Revs to their best regular season mark in club history at 73-51, before going on to become just the second team in Atlantic League history to win back-to-back championships. Etchebarren was named the Atlantic League's Manager of the Year, the first such honor garnered by a Revs skipper. Etchebarren has 11 seasons of experience as a minor league manager with the Orioles organization, managing at all levels from Rookie to Triple-A. |
