Dennis Rogers is a respected baseball mind that has won at nearly every level. After excelling as a player in high school and college, he played briefly in the San Francisco Giants organization before injuries ended his playing career. He began his coaching career as an assistant to Rich Stalder at John W. North High School, helping guide the Huskies to their first Ivy League title, and won a CIF title as head coach at San Gorgonio High School. He then moved over to San Bernardino Valley College as an assistant, where his teams won two Mission Conference Championships. Dennis was an assistant at Cal Poly Pomona to legendary coach John Scolinos, where he was instrumental in capturing two NCAA Division II national championships in 1980 and 1983. Dennis successfully managed in the Oakland A’s and Pittsburgh Pirates minor league organizations, winning numerous championships. This included a two-year stint with the Vancouver Canadians in 2003-2004.  After coaching at Cal State Fullerton, he came to Riverside Community College, where he has led the Tigers to three state junior college championships. Dennis has mentored many players who went on to play at four-year colleges and in the professionally ranks.
