A transfer from Rutgers University, Tornberg comes to Keene this summer after his first year at Bryant in Smithfield, R.I.  He served as a team captain and earned GSAC All-Academic honors at the County College of Morris in 2021 before redshirting with the Scarlet Knights last year.  This season, he made his first appearance as a Bulldog at High Point on February 19 and subsequently struck out four in two impressive innings at then-No. 14 Virginia Tech on February 26.  Tornberg also pitched a scoreless inning at then-No. 20 Connecticut on April 11, and overall struck out 14 in his first 16 innings.  He started his high school career in California before moving to New Jersey as a junior and attending Chatham.  He has two younger sisters and a younger brother.
