An often-used lefty out of Florida Atlantic’s bullpen, Drumheller comes to Keene after leading his team in appearances on the mound over the past two seasons, including 27 in 2022. He cemented himself in the key bullpen role for the Owls midway through his rookie year in 2021 and has not looked back from there, holding opponents to a .241 batting average overall in his 70 career appearances where he has a 5-1 record and three career saves. In outings of at least an inning in 2023, he recorded a strikeout in all but two, including a high of three against Dallas Baptist on April 14. Drumheller, born in Ventura, California, was ranked the No. 54 overall left-handed pitcher in the country by Perfect Game at Alonso High School. His father, Al, pitched in the minor leagues for seven seasons. Sam is a Secondary Biology Education major at FAU.
