Coach Burney is entering his fourth year with the Joes. He began his coaching career at Mason County High School where he spent two years before joining the staff at Miami Hamilton, where he will be entering his fifth year. He is a 2015 graduate of Lindsey Wilson College where he was a member of the baseball team. Burney also coaches at Ohio Baseball Science Academy as the throwing program coordinator and carries his Driveline certification. His hometown is Maysville, Kentucky.
