Meier crossed the country from his hometown of Belmont to Stanford for his college career and made an immediate impact on the mound for the Cardinal. The 6-foot-1 righty went 1-2 with a 3.07 ERA over his first 14.2 innings, striking out 11 while holding opponents to a .218 average. His freshman season included scoreless appearances against the likes of Cal State Fullerton and College World Series finalist Michigan as well as a win over Grand Canyon.

The Lawrence Academy’s high school resume was glowing. Meier was a two-time Independent School League All-Star, 2019 Perfect Game First Team All-Region performer and represented the Northeast in the 2018 Area Code Games.
