Blueberg was drafted by the San Diego Padres in the 24th round of the 2014 MLB Draft out of the University of Nevada-Reno, and his five-year professional career has seen him reach Triple-A for one appearance in 2018. He owns a career 22-9 record with a 2.58 ERA in 197 relief appearances, but has never made a start. He’s finished 126 games in his career and owns 46 pro saves. Coming into 2019, he’d tossed 279.1 innings and gave up 232 hits with 100 runs, 80 earned runs, 104 walks and 304 strikeouts.
