After dominating District 19 as a freshman, it will be interesting to see what Doelling does for an encore next year at Rowan-Burlington. Doelling had four double-digit strikeout games, held batters to an average of under .200, and made life miserable for opposing hitters in almost every outing. 3-0 with a 1.03 ERA and 51 strikeouts over 26 2/3 innings in March. Whiffed 13 in 5 1/3 innings against Delaware Tech on March 2 and had another baker’s dozen three weeks later against Atlantic Cape. Doelling was the Player of the Year in Burlington County as a HS senior at Riverside in 2018. He finished second in the state with 109 strikeouts in 59 innings and went 7-2 with a 1.07 ERA.
