Starting in all 50 games played in 2017, Gethings was among the top of his team in several offensive categories. Gethings led the team in walks (35), tied 2017 Gull Drew Arciuolo for first in runs scored (35), ranked second in RBI (28), and third in hits (53). One of Jack’s best games came against Rider on April 8 when he went three-for-four with a home run, five RBI, and three runs scored.

Last summer, Gethings played for the Wachusett Dirt Dawgs of the Futures Collegiate Baseball League where he batted .323 with five home runs and 32 RBI, earning him a spot in the FCBL All-Star Game.
