Keenyn Walker begins his seventh professional season and first wth Windy City in 2017. He signed with the Bolts on April 13, 2017. Keenyn's pro baseball career began when he was a first-round pick of the Chicago White Sox in the 2011 June Amateur Draft (47th overall). He played six years in the White Sox system, peaking at Double A Birmingham, where he played in 319 games over four seasons. He batted .229 overall with a .326 on-base percentage and stole 204 bases. Walker was named a top ten White Sox prospect by Baseball America in both 2012 and 2013. He played two years at Central Arizona College and hit .340 in 86 games with 22 stolen bases. He was twice drafted without signing, in the 38th round in 2010 by the Phillies and by the Cubs in the 16th round in 2009 out of Judge Memorial Catholic High School in Salt Lake City, Utah.
