The Kansas City T-Bones (39-32) outlasted the Winnipeg Goldeyes (40-29) on Wednesday after three lead changes, squeaking out a 7-4 win at CommunityAmerica Ballpark.

The Kansas City T-Bones finally managed to grab the lead after a strong eighth inning. A two-run error scored Lee Cruz and gave the Kansas City T-Bones the lead for good.

Cruz led the Kansas City T-Bones' offensive threat, as he got on base three times in the game. He doubled in the fourth inning and singled in the eighth inning.

Josh Mazzola racked up three RBIs on two hits for the Winnipeg Goldeyes. He homered in the seventh inning and singled in the eighth inning.

Brad Furnish improved to 1-0 on the year by picking up the win for the Kansas City T-Bones. He struck out none, walked none and surrendered one hit.

Griffin Bailey was charged with his first loss of the year. He lasted just 1 1/3 innings, walked one, struck out one, and allowed four runs.
