The Amarillo Sox seize victory thanks to late two-run blast, drop the Wichita Wingnuts 9-5

After five lead changes in Monday's game at Lawrence Dumont Stadium, the Amarillo Sox (34-29) finally pulled out a 9-5 win over the Wichita Wingnuts (35-27).

Adam Buschini racked up two RBIs on four hits for the Amarillo Sox. He homered in the seventh inning and singled in the fourth, fifth, and ninth innings.

Wes Littleton pitched lights out for the Amarillo Sox. Littleton held the Wichita Wingnuts hitless over 1 2/3 innings, allowed no earned runs, walked one and struck out three.

Trent Lare improved to 2-3 on the year by picking up the win for the Amarillo Sox. Lare struck out none, walked none and gave up two hits.

James Baker (0-2) took the loss for the Wichita Wingnuts. He lasted just one inning, walked one, struck out two, and allowed two runs.
