Cody Coffman had two extra base hits as the Roswell Invaders (42-17) took home a 9-6 victory over the White Sands Pupfish (24-36) at Joe Bauman Park on Monday.
He singled in the first inning, homered in the fourth inning, and doubled in the fifth inning.Zac Johnson was solid at the plate for the White Sands Pupfish. Johnson went 2-4, drove in one and scored one run. He homered in the third inning and singled in the eighth inning.
David Johnson recorded his ninth win of the year for the Roswell Invaders. He allowed four runs over six innings. He struck out six, walked none and surrendered 10 hits.
Taylor Elman (1-3) took the loss for the White Sands Pupfish. He allowed eight runs in five innings, walked one and struck out eight.
The Roswell Invaders' Bobby Webb, Rene Moreda, Coffman and Joey Miller combined for 11 hits and eight RBIs.
