A great effort by Joey Miller led the Roswell Invaders (33-14) to a 4-3 win over the Trinidad Triggers (24-20) on Sunday at Central Park.

Miller hit two home runs for the Roswell Invaders. Miller went 2-4 in the game with four RBIs and two runs scored. Miller homered in the first and sixth innings.

The Roswell Invaders scored three runs in the first inning to build an early lead. A three-run home run by Miller delivered the runs in the first. The Roswell Invaders had two hits in the inning.

Blake Oliver picked up the win for the Roswell Invaders. Oliver allowed three earned runs, seven hits and no walks while striking out two over eight innings of work.

Denver Diefenbach couldn't get it done on the hill for the Trinidad Triggers, taking a loss. He lasted just six innings, walked one, struck out eight, and allowed four runs.
