The Salina Stockade (11-12) beat the Great Bend Boom (9-11) 9-7 on Saturday at Dean Evans Stadium behind CJ Epperson, who went 3-3 at the plate.

Tevin Padgett did his best to jumpstart the offense for the Great Bend Boom, reaching base four times. He singled in the first and second innings.

Skyler Janisse recorded his third win of the year for the Salina Stockade. He allowed three runs over six innings. He struck out seven, walked three and surrendered seven hits.

Stephen Swagerty (0-1) was the game's losing pitcher. He allowed seven runs in five innings, walked three and struck out four.
