The Tucson Saguaros (9-1) beat the Santa Fe Fuego (2-8) 11-6 on Friday at Kino Veterans behind Ryan Retz, who had two extra base hits.
He tripled in the first and sixth innings.David Robles pitched lights out for the Tucson Saguaros. The Santa Fe Fuego managed just one hit off of Robles, who allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out three during his two innings of work.
Clayton Beaulieu was hot from the plate for the Santa Fe Fuego. Beaulieu went 3-5 and scored two runs. He singled in the third and eighth innings.
