A walk-off double from Corey Bass brought home the winning run for the Windy City ThunderBolts (29-31) in a 4-3 victory over the Gateway Grizzlies in 10 innings at Standard Bank Stadium on Sunday.
Bass racked up two RBIs on two hits for the Windy City ThunderBolts. He singled in the fourth inning and doubled in the tenth inning.
The Gateway Grizzlies (30-32)'s lineup had no answer for Zac Westcott. Westcott held the Gateway Grizzlies hitless over two innings, allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out one.
