Fourth-inning rally sparks blowout win for the Palm Springs Power, 11-3

A seven-run explosion in the fourth inning spurred the Palm Springs Power (3-1) to an 11-3 win in seven innings over the Toronto Rush at Palm Springs Stadium on Saturday.

The Palm Springs Power scored in the fourth on a solo home run by Zach Alofaituli, a two-run home run by Westyn Baylor, an RBI single by Jordan Brower, and a three-run home run by Ian Hagenmiller.

Hagenmiller racked up three RBIs on two hits for the Palm Springs Power.

Charles Dailey was hot from the plate for the Toronto Rush (1-1). Dailey went 2-3 and scored two runs. He singled in the first inning and tripled in the fifth inning.

Blake Evetts recorded his first win of the year for the Palm Springs Power. He allowed three runs over five innings. Evetts struck out nine, walked none and gave up seven hits.

Max Schonfeld was charged with his first loss of the year. He lasted just 2 1/3 innings, walked one, struck out one, and allowed four runs.

The Palm Springs Power easily handled the Toronto Rush pitching as six hitters combined for 10 hits, nine RBIs and nine runs scored.
