The British Columbia Bombers (2-1) jumped out to an early lead on the Coachella Valley Snowbirds (0-4) and captured a 12-3 victory on Monday at Palm Springs Stadium.

Eight runs in the first three innings allowed the British Columbia Bombers to put the game away early.

A steal of home by Pete Leonello and a two-run single by Brandon Landanger during the first inning supplied the early offense for the British Columbia Bombers.

Landanger racked up five RBIs on three hits for the British Columbia Bombers.

Marc Culmer led the Coachella Valley Snowbirds' offensive threat, as he got on base three times in the game. He doubled in the third inning and singled in the seventh inning.

Roberto Padilla improved to 1-0 on the year by picking up the win for the British Columbia Bombers. He allowed two runs over 2 2/3 innings. He struck out five, walked three and surrendered one hit.
