Daniel Fredrickson went 4-4 at the plate, helping the Okotoks Dawgs (20-14) to a 5-1 victory over the Edmonton Prospects (16-19) on Friday at Seaman Stadium.
He singled in the first, fifth, and seventh innings and doubled in the eighth inning.The Okotoks Dawgs relied on Tyrell King to eat up innings en route to the win. King pitched seven innings and allowed one earned run, five hits and no walks while striking out five.
Kyle Garvin (4-1) took the loss for the Edmonton Prospects. He lasted just six innings, walked one, struck out one, and allowed three runs.
