The Yorkton Cardinals (9-15) built an early edge on Tuesday, but the Melville Millionaires (7-17) roared back to steal a 3-2 victory at Pirie Field.

While the Yorkton Cardinals led until the seventh inning, the Melville Millionaires worked their way back and took the lead on a sacrifice fly by Braeden Allemann.

Zac Wilson reached base two times in the game for the Melville Millionaires. He scored one run and had one RBI. He tripled in the sixth inning.

Hunter Vasquez picked up the win for the Melville Millionaires. Vasquez pitched eight innings and allowed one earned run, five hits and no walks while striking out five.

Garrett Osterode was effective even in defeat, mowing down five the Melville Millionaires batters and allowing two runs.

Aaron Dick was charged with his fourth loss of the year. He lasted just 2 2/3 innings, walked none, struck out one, and allowed one run.
