Joe Borowski went 2-4 and hit a home run as the White Sands Pupfish (26-16) took home a 5-2 victory over the Roswell Invaders (24-19) at Joe Bauman Park on Thursday.
He singled in the first inning and homered in the third inning.Demetrus Ingrams picked up the win for the White Sands Pupfish. Ingrams pitched seven innings and allowed no earned runs, five hits and two walks while striking out five.
Corey Lathram-Skillman allowed four earned runs, eight hits and no walks while striking out nine over nine innings of work.
