A superb effort by Danny Grauer hoisted the Roswell Invaders (24-18) to a 10-9 win in 14 innings over the Garden City Wind (9-32) on Sunday at Joe Bauman Park.

Grauer hit two home runs for the Roswell Invaders. Grauer went 5-6 in the game with three RBIs and four runs scored. Grauer homered in the third and ninth innings.

A walk-off single by Michael Granda gave the Roswell Invaders the win.

Granda paced the Roswell Invaders at the plate. Granda went 3-7, drove in one and scored one run. He singled in the third and fourteenth innings.

Each team blasted the other's pitching, and there were 19 total runs and 34 hits during the game. Both bullpens were busy with nine pitchers used in the game as the skippers of both squads tried to finish it off.

Shane Simpkins recorded his second win of the year for the Roswell Invaders. He struck out five, walked none and surrendered one hit.

Chip White (1-1) was the game's losing pitcher. He lasted just four innings, walked none, struck out three, and allowed one run.
