Clifford's single gives the Santa Fe Fuego walk-off win over the Trinidad Triggers, 16-15

A walk-off single from Macyn Clifford brought home the winning run for the Santa Fe Fuego (32-18) in a 16-15 victory over the Trinidad Triggers (41-17) in 10 innings at Central Park on Saturday.

Clifford racked up two RBIs on one hit for the Santa Fe Fuego. He singled in the ninth and tenth innings.

Caleb Bryson blasted two home runs for the Trinidad Triggers. Bryson went 3-4 in the game with three RBIs and four runs scored. Bryson homered in the first and third innings.

Each team blasted the other's pitching, and there were 31 total runs and 35 hits during the game. Relief pitchers got their fill of innings during the game, with the opposing managers using 11 pitchers in total.

Heath Nichols recorded his second win of the year for the Santa Fe Fuego. He allowed three runs over one inning. He struck out none, walked three and surrendered two hits.

Jake Swartout was charged with his first loss of the year. He lasted just one-third of an inning, walked none, struck out none, and allowed one run.

Chevas Numata, Martin Guevara, David Brandt and Eddie Newton helped lead the Santa Fe Fuego. They combined for 15 hits and seven RBIs.
