The Las Cruces Vaqueros (9-21) built an early edge on Friday, but the Roswell Invaders (17-14) roared back to steal an 8-6 victory at Apodoca Park.

The Roswell Invaders took the lead in the ninth inning on a two-run error.

Michael Morris got on base three times in the game for the Roswell Invaders. He singled in the third inning.

Alejandro Diaz had a hot bat for the Las Cruces Vaqueros. Diaz went 3-5, drove in one and scored one run. He doubled in the second inning and singled in the first and ninth innings.

Even though Steven Romero allowed six runs over seven innings he still recorded the victory, his second of the season. Romero struck out nine, walked five and gave up eight hits.

Chad Flick (1-2) was the game's losing pitcher. He lasted just one inning, walked two, struck out two, and allowed two runs.
