A walk-off solo blast from Taylor Ard brought home the winning run for the River City Rascals (50-38) in a 1-0 victory over the Lake Erie Crushers (36-51) in 10 innings at T. R. Hughes Ballpark on Friday.

The River City Rascals were led by Ard's hitting. Ard went 1-5, drove in one and scored one run. He homered in the tenth inning.

Zeb Sneed improved to 4-3 on the year by picking up the win for the River City Rascals. He struck out two, walked none and surrendered no hits.

Trevor Longfellow (5-9) took the loss for the Lake Erie Crushers. He lasted just two-thirds of an inning, walked none, struck out two, and allowed one run.
