A superb effort by Brandon Jacobs led the Traverse City Beach Bums (56-38) to a 12-6 win over the Windy City ThunderBolts (41-55) on Saturday at Wuerfel Park.

Jacobs rocked the Windy City ThunderBolts with two home runs. Jacobs went 2-3 in the game with two RBIs and three runs scored. Jacobs homered in the second and fourth innings.

The Traverse City Beach Bums blew out the Windy City ThunderBolts thanks to 12 hits, including zero extra base hits. The Traverse City Beach Bums scored four runs in the fifth on the Traverse City Beach Bums scored in the fifth on , a single by Yazy Arbelo, , an RBI single by Jake Rhodes, and a single by Sam Bumpers.
