The Alpine Cowboys (45-20) pounded the White Sands Pupfish (27-32) on Monday 15-5 at The Aquarium.

The Alpine Cowboys scored six runs in the ninth on the Alpine Cowboys scored in the ninth on a passed ball, a two-run double by Casanova Donaldson, and a three-run triple by Austin Prott.

John Hotta went a perfect 4-4 at the plate for the Alpine Cowboys. He singled in the second, third, fifth, and ninth innings.

The Alpine Cowboys relied on Anthony Figliola to eat up innings en route to the win. Figliola allowed one earned run, eight hits and two walks while striking out five over 7 2/3 innings of work.

It was a good day at the plate for the White Sands Pupfish's Miguel Castano. Castano went 2-3, drove in one and scored one run. He singled in the eighth inning and doubled in the ninth inning.

Ian Drapsho (5-2) was the game's losing pitcher. He allowed eight runs in five innings, walked three and struck out three.

The Alpine Cowboys pounded the White Sands Pupfish pitching, as six hitters combined for 15 hits, 12 RBIs and eight runs scored.
