Kyle Robinson hit two home runs, but it wasn't enough to carry the Windy City ThunderBolts (11-15) to a win on Sunday, as the Windy City ThunderBolts fell to the Schaumburg Boomers (15-12) 10-3 at Standard Bank Stadium.
Everything was working at the plate for the the Schaumburg Boomers in the second. In the inning the Schaumburg Boomers scored six runs. The Schaumburg Boomers scored in the second on an RBI single by Ryan McChesney, an RBI single by Sean Mahley, an RBI single by Jordan Dean, a two-run double by Justin Vasquez, and an RBI single by Ryan Solberg.
Vasquez racked up four RBIs on three hits for the Schaumburg Boomers.
Seth Webster got the win, running his season record to 2-2. He allowed two runs over six innings. Webster struck out two, walked none and gave up eight hits.
Daniel Cropper (2-4) took the loss for the Windy City ThunderBolts. He allowed eight runs in five innings, walked three and struck out four.
