The Bisbee Blue (18-13) failed to take advantage of Daniel Aldrich's effort at the plate on Saturday, losing 7-6 to the White Sands Pupfish (10-19) in seven innings.

Aldrich rocked the White Sands Pupfish with two home runs. Aldrich went 3-3 in the game with five RBIs and two runs scored. Aldrich homered in the third and fifth innings.

Yermin Mercedes blasted two home runs for the White Sands Pupfish. Mercedes went 3-4 in the game with three RBIs and three runs scored. Mercedes homered in the first and fifth innings.

Mike Mezaros got it done on the hill on the way to a win. He pitched one shutout inning. Mezaros struck out none, walked one and gave up no hits.

Mike Heller was charged with his first loss of the year. He lasted just two-thirds of an inning, walked two, struck out one, and allowed three runs.
