The Roswell Invaders (26-19) beat the Bisbee Blue (25-19) 7-3 on Friday at Joe Bauman Park behind Jeff Eubank, who hit two home runs.
He homered in the sixth and eighth innings.The Roswell Invaders got the win thanks in large part to Josh Mooney's dominant, nine-strikeout performance. Mooney allowed three earned runs, seven hits and five walks over nine innings.
Kody Thiebaud (3-4) took the loss for the Bisbee Blue. He allowed seven runs in 7 2/3 innings, walked two and struck out five.
Eubank, Ryan Retz and Ryan Normoyle helped lead the Roswell Invaders. They combined for six hits and six RBIs.
