The bats were busy at Taos Tundra on Monday, and when the dust cleared the Trinidad Triggers (35-25) had a 14-11 win over the Taos Blizzard (22-41) in 10 innings.
The teams totaled 31 hits in the game.
Johnny Bladel racked up four RBIs on four hits for the Trinidad Triggers. He singled in the first, third, and sixth innings and homered in the seventh inning.
The Taos Blizzard had no answer for Daniel Sharp, who kept runners off the basepaths in his appearance. The Taos Blizzard managed just one hit off of the the Trinidad Triggers' pitcher, who allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out five during his 2 1/3 innings of work.
Joe Katin (3-5) was the game's losing pitcher. He lasted just two-thirds of an inning, walked one, struck out none, and allowed three runs.
