A walk-off single from Anderson Hidalgo brought home the winning run for the Lake Erie Crushers (38-30) in a 7-6 victory over the Evansville Otters (40-26) in 14 innings at All Pro Freight Stadium on Sunday.
The Evansville Otters couldn't slow down Hidalgo, who paced the Lake Erie Crushers with six hits. He doubled in the third inning and singled in the fourth, sixth, eighth, thirteenth, and fourteenth innings.
The Evansville Otters had no answer for Zac Treece, who kept runners off the basepaths in his appearance. Treece held the Evansville Otters hitless over three innings, allowed one earned run, walked none and struck out two.
Josh Allen (0-1) was the game's losing pitcher. He lasted just one-third of an inning, walked one, struck out one, and allowed two runs.
