Jon Dailey went 4-4 at the plate as the Big Bend (21-17) took home an 11-7 victory over the Blue Mountain (6-32) at BBCC Baseball Field on Saturday.
He singled in the second, fourth, sixth, and eighth innings.Patrick OSullivan put together a nice outing. OSullivan held the Blue Mountain hitless over 3 2/3 innings, allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out four.
Dean Gettman put himself in scoring position with two extra-base hits for the Blue Mountain. He singled in the third inning and doubled in the fifth and ninth innings.
Grant Klopmeyer couldn't get it done on the hill for the Blue Mountain, taking a loss. He lasted just one-third of an inning, walked one, struck out one, and allowed two runs.
