A groundout by Greg Bachman, a groundout by Bachman, and a three-run home run by David Bergin in the first inning and , , a hit by pitch, , and an RBI single by Bergin during the second inning supplied the early offense for the Fort Worth Cats.
Bergin racked up four RBIs on two hits for the Fort Worth Cats.
Jackson Yede took the loss for the McAllen Thunder. He lasted just one inning, walked two, struck out one, and allowed four runs.
