The Lethbridge Bulls escape the Yorkton Cardinals behind Neal's 9 strikeouts, 5-0

Story by Narrative Science.

An exceptional effort by Dennis Neal spurred the Lethbridge Bulls (5-6) to a 5-0 win over the Yorkton Cardinals (4-8) on Saturday at Jubilee Park.

Neal got the win for the Lethbridge Bulls thanks to nine strikeouts. The Lethbridge Bulls' pitcher tossed seven innings of shutout ball and allowed only three hits.

Matt Redfearn led the Lethbridge Bulls' offensive threat, as he got on base three times in the game. He scored one run and had one RBI. He tripled in the fourth inning.

Matt Chavarria ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his first loss of the year. He lasted just 7 2/3 innings, walked four, struck out 10, and allowed four runs.
