The Gary SouthShore RailCats (5-3) outlasted the Kansas City T-Bones (2-6) on Friday after six lead changes, squeaking out a 6-5 win at CommunityAmerica Ballpark.

The Gary SouthShore RailCats took the lead in the eighth inning and held on for the victory. Scored Ryan Babineau and gave the Gary SouthShore RailCats the lead for good.

Adam Klein racked up two RBIs on three hits for the Gary SouthShore RailCats. He doubled in the fifth inning and singled in the third and ninth innings.

Matt Padgett racked up three RBIs on one hit for the Kansas City T-Bones. He homered in the sixth inning.

Will Krout got his first win for the Gary SouthShore RailCats despite allowing five runs over seven innings. Krout struck out four, walked two and gave up five hits.

Ethan Cole (0-1) took the loss for the Kansas City T-Bones. He lasted just two innings, walked none, struck out one, and allowed one run.
