Nepiarsky made 12 appearances, including two starts, for the Huskies during his sophomore season, tallying a 1-1 record with a 5.60 ERA.  In his freshman season, the right-handed hurler from Orange, CT, was one of the Huskies’ steadiest arms out of the bullpen during the tail end of the season.  He did not allow a hit in his first seven collegiate appearances in 2015, and ended the year with a paltry 1.25 ERA in 21.2 innings of work.  Prior to coming to UConn, Nepiarsky was a Futures Collegiate Baseball League All Star and won the FCBL Pitcher of the Week honor in July 2014.
