The catcher attended Ithaca College where he played three seasons. His best season was his junior year where he was second on the team in batting average at .366 and third in slugging percentage. He was a three year letterwinner at Ithaca College. He earned 1st Team All New York Region in 2013.


In 2014, Caswell played with the Alpine Cowboys in the Pecos League and batted .324 in 51 games. He was then traded to the Ottawa Champions in 2015, part of the Canadian American Association of Professional Baseball. 


Currently in the USPBL, Caswell has started in 27 games and is batting .324 for the Diamond Hoppers.
