The infielder played at Seminole State College in 2013. As a freshman he was honored in the Mid-Florida All- Conference. He played for Pima Community College in 2014, where he had a batting average of .265. 


Following PCC, he again transferred to New Mexico State University where he was a 1-year letter winner. He hit .265 with the Aggies. 


Currently in the USPBL, Kennon is hitting .311 in 33 games. He has 37 hits and 18 RBI on the season.
