As a Freshman (as of May 15, 2011):

• Played in 21 games, starting 3, playing outfield and pitching • Played 4 games in outfield, starting 3, but only had 6 at bats • Made 17 appearances out of the pen • Went 2-1 with a 5.40 ERA, 16 K, and 1 save • His 16-7 K/BB ratio was the best among Tulane relievers

According to Coach:

”He is a two way player that pitches and plays the outfield. Andrew is very athletic and can play all three outfield positions. He has had a huge role on the mound for us this year out of the bullpen and we are expecting great things from him as both a pitcher and outfielder in the years to come. At the plate he has the ability to hit the ball to all fields with power and is a threat on the bases with exceptional speed. He is a plus outfielder with a strong accurate arm and his speed allows him to run almost anything down in the gaps.”            Tulane Asst.
