BIOGRAPHY:  Wade J. Korpi, 29 years old, born on March 10, 1986 in Sneedville, Tennessee.  He graduated from Santaluces High School where he finished his career with a school record 125 strikeouts, while leading his respective county in wins and strikeouts.  He attended the University of Notre Dame where he was the fourth starter on a staff that contained three MLB Draft picks (Samardzija, Manship, Thorton).  He won two games in the Big East Tournament in 2006.

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE:  Drafted by the Florida Marlins in the 20th round in 2008.  He spent four seasons in the Marlins organization, making it as high as AAA New Orleans in 2010.  He has spent the last three seasons playing in independent professional baseball including the last two seasons with Southern Maryland.  

2014 EXPERIENCE: Spent last season with Southern Maryland, going 6-3 with a 2.78 ERA in 56 games pitched overall.  He had at least a strikeout on 37 occassions. Santaluces
