Thurman enters his 20th professional season and eighth with the Revolution, far and away the longest-tenured player in franchise history.  The 36-year-old right-hander enters the season ranking second in Atlantic League history in wins (65), innings (960.2) and strikeouts (656), and is the Revs’ all-time leader in each of those categories in addition to starts (175).  Coming off the 2014 season during which he went 9-7 with a 3.97 ERA, Thurman enters the 2015 season nine wins shy of tying the Atlantic League’s all-time record of 74 career wins, established by Tim Cain.

Having first signed with York prior to the 2008 season, Thurman has posted nine wins or more in five of his seven seasons in a Revolution uniform, including a 13-3 record in 2011 followed by a 14-3 mark in 2012.  Thurman reached the Major Leagues early in his career, appearing in 49 games (four starts) with the Toronto Blue Jays between 2002 and 2003.
