Chris Carminucci became the third manager in Brockton Rox history when he was hired in January of 2009, and led the club to a 56-37 record and a playoff spot in his first season. Previously, he had spent the 2007 season with the Atlantic City Surf of the Can-Am League, where he was named the league's Manager of the Year while guiding the Surf to a playoff appearance. He has also managed the St. Joe Blacksnakes of the American Association (2006) and the Grays, the Can-Am League's road team (2005). Carminucci was a third-baseman at LaGrange College in Georgia where he led his team in hitting both his junior and senior seasons. After graduation, he played for the Evansville Otters of the Frontier League and the Bangor Lumberjacks of the Northeast League. His coaching career has also included stops with the Brewster White Caps of the Cape Cod League, and St. John's University. Carminucci has also worked as a scout for several Major League Baseball organizations including the Kansas City Royals, and the Philadelphia Phillies. Away from the ballpark, Chris enjoys spending time with his wife, Lauren and their daughters, Emma and Kate.
