Right handed hurler from Scarborough, Maine.  Ben Wessel’s story is one of adversity and triumph, Ben suffered a devastating injury during his senior season at Scarborough High School, but he continued to contribute despite not being able to pitch anymore that season. Wessel led the Red Storm to the Western Maine Class A baseball championship and that earned him the title of Mr. Baseball for the state of Maine. Wessel has continued his career with a steadfast attitude leading him to a contributing member of the bullpen for the University of Rhode Island.
