Patton had an extremely successful and decorated high school career, lettering all four years and helping his team become District Champions (2006-2009), Regional Champions (2009), and several other championships in 2009, as well as being ranked the No. 1 baseball team in the nation by ESPN.  As for his personal accomplishments, Patton was a Collegiate Baseball and Max Prep First Team All American, Florida Class 4A Player of the Year, and Team MVP.  He was a dominating high school pitcher, ending his career with a 27-6 record, 1.30 ERA, and 11 complete games.  In 205 1/3 innings, Patton fanned an impressive 231 batters.  He appeared in one game this year for the Ospreys, pitched four innings and struck out three batters.
